Pre 1950s Tilley X246 Guardsman Lamp in Pink Metal

Check out this gorgeous 1950’s Metallic Pink Tilley X246 “Guardsman” lantern! The curves and high gloss of this beautifully crafted British lamp really bring out the colour. The polished brass hardware and silver frame make it absolutely stunning.

Despite being 75 years old, the frame is still fully functional, showing some signs of wear under the high-temperature coating, but lets face it, after 75 years, we all would have some “laughter lines”. Tilley didn’t start stamping the tanks until after 1954, so the date is estimated.
